Review in the browser

Send a client or reviewer a private link. They read the translation beside the source and comment in any browser, without installing anything. Their comments arrive in Lexora on the segments they are about.

Create a review link

  1. Open the Delivery deskChoose Delivery desk in the sidebar and find Review in the browser.
  2. Choose what to shareTick the documents, choose how long the link stays open (3, 7, 14 or 30 days), and add a message for the reviewer if you like.
  3. Send itChoose Create review link, then Copy link and send it by e-mail or chat.

Anyone with the link can read those documents and comment until it closes. It opens nothing else in Lexora.

What the reviewer sees

A page on lexorastudio.com with the source and your translation side by side, in light or dark, on a computer or a phone. They comment on any segment and say when they have finished. The page is shown in their browser’s language when it is one of Lexora’s eight.

Getting the comments

Lexora checks for new comments every two minutes while it is open, and tells you when some arrive. Each comment appears as a note on its segment, marked as from the review link. Check for comments looks at once.

After you make changes

Choose Send latest translation so the reviewer sees your current text on the same link.

Stop sharing

Choose Stop sharing to close the link at once. Stopping deletes the shared copy and its comments from the Lexora server at once. A link that runs out closes by itself; its copy is deleted 30 days later, after your app has collected the comments.
